Located in the Peruvian Amazon rainforest, about 90 minutes from Iquitos, at kilometer 75 on the road to Nauta, it offers intensive spiritual healing with ayahuasca led by an expert healer whose ancestral healing technique was taught to him as a tradition passed down through generations.

Earlier this year, I spent a week at the Amazon Natural Healing Center with shaman Victor and owner/general manager Weninger Pezo and his wife Karin. This place provided the solitude and peace I needed to continue my ayahuasca healing process. I was able to fully focus on my intentions. I will return for more sessions, knowing I am in a safe and welcoming place with plenty of expert guidance and positive reinforcement. I highly recommend this unique jungle lodge because it personalizes the experience rather than relying on group therapy, like so many other places in the Iquitos area. Furthermore, I know that the shaman prepares his own ayahuasca based on centuries of family tradition. Many other places openly buy their ayahuasca at the Belén market, where there is no guarantee of authenticity or purity. Here at the Center, I can participate in the ayahuasca preparation.

What an incredible discovery I made during my week-long stay at the Amazon Natural Healing Center in Iquitos, Peru! The owner and general manager, Weninger Pezo, was extremely professional, yet kind and attentive. He explained the necessity of following a specific diet before taking ayahuasca with the shaman. This diet consists of the four "S" regimen. Simply put, it means minimizing or eliminating salt, sugar, spices, alcoholic beverages, and sex from your daily routine. This should be done for at least one week before and one week after taking ayahuasca. My week-long experience at this wonderful center left me healthier and with many new perspectives on my path in life. I wholeheartedly recommend that anyone seeking natural healing and wellness visit the Amazon Natural Healing Center. I recommend at least a week, or a month if you have the time. It is simply transformative.

I spent a couple of days on two separate occasions at their Amazon Natural Healing Center. I must add that I thoroughly enjoyed my ayahuasca sessions with Shaman Victor, and they proved incredibly helpful for the healing, understanding, and spiritual growth I was seeking. I found the answers I longed for. I encourage everyone to follow the diet recommended by the Center to maximize their experience. The place is perfect for groups of any size.
